Under the heise Academy and iX brands, heise offers various formats such as conferences, workshops and webinars on information and digitization topics for a specialist audience. heise is breaking new ground with the Maker Faires event in Germany: Maker Media organizes the family-friendly festivals of creativity and innovation annually in Hanover.
heise medien is sharpening its profile in the ICT area with new event formats: In 2018, heise launched its own security event with secIT, and in 2019, the new recruiting series IT-Kompakt was successfully launched, and is now a popular recruiting area at trade fairs such as gamescom.. You can expect a variety of digital conferences and webinars as well as face-to-face events such as secIT, the IT Days and the new Horizons by heise launched in 2023.

Since 2012 iX and dpunkt.verlag have been organizing conferences and workshops on topics that move software developers, architects, project managers and technology decision makers. The spectrum ranges from programming languages, tools and frameworks to current trends like microservices and machine learning.
